BIMI Record Checker
BIMI puts your verified brand logo next to every email you send in Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo, Fastmail. Check whether your domain has one configured.
Why BIMI matters
Recipients recognise brand logos. Seeing your logo instead of a grey initial boosts open rates and establishes sender legitimacy — a hedge against phishing that copies your brand.
The prerequisites
Before BIMI works, you need (1) SPF + DKIM passing, (2) DMARC at p=quarantine or stricter, (3) a valid SVG Tiny PS logo hosted publicly. BIMI is the reward for doing your email auth homework.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is BIMI?+
Brand Indicators for Message Identification. It lets your verified brand logo appear next to your emails in supporting clients (Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo, Fastmail) instead of the usual grey initial.
Do I need a VMC?+
Only for Gmail. Gmail requires a Verified Mark Certificate (a paid cert proving you own the logo). Yahoo, Fastmail, and Apple Mail render BIMI without one.
What format does the logo need?+
SVG Tiny PS (a restricted SVG profile). Square aspect ratio, no scripts, no external refs, solid coloured shapes only.
